Great location and amazing staff.

Central, character, parking

Restaurant food was good, but the seating area was dirty, windowsills, chairs stained. Dirty cups in our room when we arrived and a carrier bag of dog biscuits in a bedside drawer? Outside spaces were very weedy, which made it look uncared for. Dog friendly on website, but nothing said about them being allowed to stay in the bedrooms. We were told there were only certain rooms for this, but hubby is allergic to dogs and we were given a dog room. It needs to be addressed when booking, we didn’t want one of those rooms for obvious reasons. Hubby took antihistamines during his stay in the end.

Parking right outside check in easy and staff helpful.

Nothing all was great.

It was lovely to find, when first entering our room, that there was a radio on, playing relaxing music. Such a welcome touch to have both radio and TV. Our room, though a bit small, was an adequate size for one or two nights. Both the bedroom and bathroom were very clean and warm. We were very pleased to have a proper good-sized basin in the bathroom. Our vegan breakfast was very good and especially that it also included spinach! We would definitely stay here again.

Supper was good and plentiful, but rather over-salted. The main light in the bedroom needs to be a bit brighter.
