Saint George Hotel

Great location with excellent beach and value. Highly recommend.

St. George Hotel is a beautiful resort with an amazing view, superb cuisine, and spotless amenities! The staff was phenomenal and kind, always willing to help! The pool was beautiful. The beach is literally steps away, clean, and beautiful. The food was really phenomenal. My husband and I had the burger nearly everyday for lunch, it was that good. On our last night, we ordered a variety of Greek dishes and they were all superb. The free breakfast was filling and delicious! There are really only three negatives: 1. The resort is a bit isolated. It's a 35 euro taxi ride from the port. My husband and I walked about 1.25 miles to the nearest periptero (mini-market) near New Golden Beach to grab water and snacks. It's a beautiful walk, but carrying back bottles of water was annoying. 2. The food is slightly overpriced. We've traveled in other areas of Greece and found this to be on the pricier side. There are a small handful of restaurants nearby within walking distance. We only stayed for 3 days and managed to try them all (they were all phenomenal although similarly priced)! 2. The rooms are not well updated. Wifi was weak in room. The beds and pillows are not super comfortable. The in-room fridge does not work well. They even have a note on it asking you not to store any food or drink in it, despite the fact that it was empty. The shower is also quite narrow. We were also told it would be a sit in tub, which it wasn't. I'd come back again if we're on Paros!

I liked that it had its own private beach; the hotel grounds are really pretty and clean, service is superb.

The location being right on the beach is superb. The beach itself was lovely with clear shallow water, just beautiful and great to swim in. The pool, bar and restaurant area were very smart and the pool one of the cleanest we have been in. Our room had wonderful sea views and a morning sunrise which would be hard to beat. The only issues we had was the bed was a little hard and the bathroom a bit tired. Breakfast was adequate as was the evening meal. Lunches by the pool however were very good indeed. The staff were very friendly and really made us feel welcome. Overall I would have absolutely no hesitation in going back or to recommend it to others. A great Hotel.

End of season visit so the local area was very quiet. Hotel itself and it's location directly onto a sandy beach was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice One of the best spots to relax! The Restaurant is very good and with a fair price. the beach is nice and cozy, and for windsurfers amazing!

Beautiful hotel in stunning surroundings. A real beach lovers paradise. Thoroughly relaxing. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

I stayed for 2 days and it was ok. What i didn't like at the hotel was that there weren't much activities to keep you interested, didn't notice any game rooms, they had a gym i think, couple of toys in a playground, thats it. Also they didn't have a kids pool, only adults one. Didn't try the food. The area is very isolated, that was the main problem. We didn't have a car, and its like impossible to get a taxi or a bus. To go to the bus station, its like a mini market in the middle of nowhere and like 20-30 min walk from hotel. There is only like 2 restaurants near by and nothing else. The beach, well the waters are lovely, but its famous for extreme sports, so its full of surfers with their stuff taking over half the beach. Very windy, brought lots of water far away to the sand, creating small mud lakes. Didnt look nice. Also the hotel has very few chairs at the beach, i had to beg the people from other hotels next to it, to get a seat at the beach. Other than this the stuff were ok, the owner helped us with transport, cant blame her. Room was ok. Overall its not bad, but gotta have a car, otherwise you are isolated.
