Mövenpick Hotel & Resort Al Bida'a Kuwait

Excellent location, directly on the beach with a breath taking sunrise view over the sea. Plenty of restaurants right outside the hotel. Away from city congestion, yet close to ring roads 5 and 6. The only hotel I found with 3BR suite. Perfect for families.

Loved how big the rooms are. Loved the upgrade accommodation. Breakfast buffet was outstanding.

We stayed two nights as honeymooners , the hotel upgraded our room and offered fresh fruit, drink & nuts as complimentary serving to us. e had awesome sun tan in the morning and romantic atmosphere @ night. Hotel staff was very friendly and GM met us to assure a pleasant stay with Movenpick.

Came for a relaxing break, and I was not disappointed...Plenty of taxis goes by if you wanted to pop into Kuwait City, otherwise there’s is a bus stop just outside the hotel complex.

The location of the hotel is good and the rooms are clean as expected but there are few issues that I have faced while staying in the hotel. First of all, there is a paper that you have to sign in order to check in, I have no problem singing the document but there should be noticed at less on the page on Expedia that there is a paper that will need to be signed when check in to the hotel or you will not be granted the room, the document is for security reasons. The outside pool was dirty and it looks like it haven’t been cleaned regularly, I have informed the person who was around the pool and he cleaned the pool afterwards, when it should be cleaned regularly. I have order some water bottles from the reception and I received it half an hour later, that’s not the problem, the problem was it was super hot, not as room temperature hot, no it was as if it was been kept under the sun all day and then they serve it to us, I order the waters around night time tho!! The outside beach was not as expected at all, it was full of rocks, I was planing to go to the beach side at the beginning but after seeing how the rocks are there a changed my plans and went to other beaches outside the hotel which were much cleaner and no rocks were there.

- The Parking was Always Crowded. - The Towels were Always unavailable when you Reach the Swimming pool Area. - The Room was Unclean when we Checked In (the Fridge was smelly and a lipstick was marked on one of the Mugs). - I used the "clean up my Room for 2 days from 8AM and the room was not cleaned for both days when I came back from the Swimming pool. - When I called them at the second day they informed me that I’m supposed to check out Today!!! (Is the Hotel policy to keep the rooms Unclean for customers that want to check out ?)

Check in was very easy room is very nice thanks to Monalisa who was very helpful.

I stayed at the Movenpick for a weekend getaway. It was a no Cel hotel but I didn’t like the rooms being on the outside especially at night. The room was okay but the beach needed some cleanup and repairs. Poles were up out of the ground, there wasn’t a real walk or steps down to the water:
