Auberge des Gallant

I loved the location. The grounds were beautiful and lush. The spa was luxurious and relaxing. Rooms were very quite and couldn’t here other people. Nice balcony overlooking the grounds. Hospitality was very good. Receptionists were informative and helpful.

It was a bit far out. Had sport cell reception.

Staff at the restaurant spoke very very little english, not enough even to explain that if I’ve asked a cappuccino I would have to pay extra! Not admissible that the communication can be done only in French! that’s a shame since the property has everything that it takes to be a great hotel

The jacuzzi was exceptional, very good size room with and a huge bathroom with an excellent size shower. There was an electric fireplace in the room that made the stay more pleasant. The hotel is in a very quiet locations, an excellent place to get away from a busy city.

The breakfast buffet had very limited selection, coffee was served once and the staff was nowhere to be found. The entrance has quite few steps and it is difficult to get the suitcases up to the lobby, but once in the building there is an elevator to the second floor.

Was very clean, beds are comfortable. There was a game room with billiard and ping pong which is very nice.

The location was a little bit far from everything around. We had to drive about 9 km in the forest without street lights. Evenings drives are not recommended.
