Comfort Inn Plover-Stevens Point

Staff was a bit rude upon arrival. Yelled at me from a back room” I’m right here don’t pick up phone. I was just reading sign that told me to pick up phone if no one was at desk. Got clean towels everyday but no coffee.

The fact that I booked a wrong night then tried to change it and booked two more and they charged me a night I didn't stay. Booking.com and the hotel both said they would refund my money and never did

We always like staying at Comfort Inn no matter where we travel. They have the best continental breakfast among other similar hotels. The rooms are fairly sound proof. They have the amenities you need. The A/C worked great. The water in Plover where we stayed could have been better. It had a taste we weren't used to. The beds are so high I need a small step stool to climb in and I'm 5'3".

desk chair in our room was trashed- ripped and made noice. plumbing was noisy when another room was using the shower

Some how we were in a handicap room. Which was fine. But there was something on the bathroom floor. I think it may have been to add a seat to the bathtub? It had metal hook like things on it. I think that was sort of a safety hazard.

Stayed for a family function, we had 4 rooms. 1 room showed wear and tear but the other 3 were all clean and comfortable. Front desk was friendly, breakfast was okay. Pool area was nice and we enjoyed that the bar was open in the evening so we could gather and catch up.

Nice, clean enough. Comfy beds!

Nice place with new amenities like many comfy pillows and a deluxe comforter, big bottles of soap, shampoo and conditioner, coffee in room, etc. It was nice and quiet. Best of all the staff was friendly and helped with whatever we needed.
