The Lodge by Cefn Tilla

Easy check in process and rooms equipped with everything needed. Good to have shuttle bus to nearby wedding venue. Enjoyed the breakfast.

Staff were brilliant and provided transport for us to get to a wedding venue we were attending .Room was very comfortable and spotless and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had in a hotel .Thoroughly recommend .

Cleanness and the bath room size.

No instructions given how to get the key for the lodge which was very disappointed luckily one of the staff help us to get the key so we can have a access to our room. We checked in very late so there are no any lights outside the building. If the room is booked for two people I was expecting I big double bed not two single bed. Me and my husband on date night and we have to sleep separate because of two single bed and single beds were so small too.

On arrival staff very friendly and check in was easy and quick. Room was a twin and a good size , with bathroom and tea making facility. Restaurant area very nice and nothing too much trouble.

Going around to the back rooms was dark and light over entrance door not working - discussed this with the owner when we bumped into him in the restaurant.

It was good but service was limited. Young girl waitress was very pleasant but there was no one in charge. No reception. No help or assistance with our efforts to get a taxi in the morning. Felt stranded. Were stranded.

Too far away from civilisation. No telephone reception. Too far away from wedding venue. No transport from hotel to the venue. Did provide transport from venue to hotel I the evening.

Rooms are nicely done.

Staff not very helpful throughout our whole stay. We stayed as part of a wedding, post wedding we were unable to get back into the main building due to the card scanner not working. Tried to contact the out of hours team and never received a response to this day. We have emailed the lodge as we know they have provided a refund to some of the guests that stayed that night but not others. Really disappointed with this unfair treatment. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend! Customer service awful.

The room was clean

No facilities, no staff, no breakfast amenities. And seriously over priced for 1 night.

Lovely room, comfy bed.

No staff around if needed. No bar open.
