Regency Inn Near Boardwalk & Hurlburt Field

Well i booked the hotel for the 24th and the plan was to arrive around midnight to 1 , but my grandson got sick so we had to take him to the doctor he had a ear infection , we live 9 hrs away we ended up arrive at 5 in the morning and wanted to get a little sleep and shower before 11 o'clock check out . Got there and tried to check in and had no reservations at all had to send her a email of my reservations so she could find it , the she said she could let me have the room till 11 i said ok so she charge me the refundable $50 per room ( i had 2 ) and then told me oh i am sorry my manger told me i couldnt rent u the rooms we over booked but i would still be charged for the the 24th and it would be 2 to 3 days for the $50 a room to be back on my card went to a different hotel and they told us its illegal to charge us for the room if we didnt stay in it

Absolutely no staff on site except a single housekeeper you would occasionally see. No one at all in the office for the entire stay. At least 4 times during our two night stay, we we're approached and asked for money by the motels "residents." It seems this place is more of an apartment complex than a motel. There was hair all over our bathtub, and the vents in the bathroom covered in dirt and mold as well as the air conditioner vents. The phone in the room was present, but its accompanying cords had been ripped from the wall. You do get what you pay for, and if you were expecting coffee, realize that it was never mentioned, do not assume. This place made me feel we could be robbed at any point.

I didn’t feel safe at this hotel. I found a used dental floss in the sink, and my bedsheets were stained, which made me think they hadn’t been changed. My friends, who stayed in another room, also found hair on their sheets. I do not recommend this hotel. We only stayed there because there were no other hotels available at the time.

Clean rooms. Pool area was clean and very nice.

Didn't know coffee was available in lobby. Only saw vending machines.

This motel was disgusting.There was nothing to like.

ROACHES CRAWLING ON WALLS IN ROOM, STRONG MOLD SMELL, CARPET ON ROOM FLOORS IS A NO-NO, THERE WAS NO LIVE INTERACTIONS WITH STAFF, ONLY KIOSKS MACHINE, BROKEN GLASS AND DOG POOP IN PARKING LOT, STAINED BEDDING AND UNCOMFORTABLE MATTRESSES!!! STAY WAS VERY UNPLEASANT AND SEVERAL TIMES CONSIDERED SLEEPING IN MY CAR.

I love the fact that my room was big and fit from my family. I love the prize the cleanliness the pool was very nice and hot. Everything was just wonderful. Will be booking in future vacations.
