Asa Ransom House

Had a lovely stay with my pup. Very welcoming. Nice rail trail nearby to walk off the road. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I would definitely stay again if my travels take me through this area again.

Our in keeper was fantastic! He did everything: Gardening, meal preparation, a gracious host, and all done superbly! The food was wonderful. Rooms and the lounge are were delightfully cozy.

I stayed at Ransom House this past weekend, May 17. It is a lovely location - quiet, well furnished, and comfortable in the rooms and common areas. In fact my friends and I spent a long time chatting in the living room late into the night. Ransom House is a wonderful, out of the main stream, lodging. I easily recommend Ransom House for any stay in the Buffalo/Clarence area.

The host was super friendly and informative. The history about the inn is interesting. The room was clean, neat and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and my wife and I really enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I stayed at Asa Ransom House for two nights on a trip to Buffalo. I made the reservation because it was a convenient location between Buffalo and Rochester, but it ended up being an unexpectedly relaxing experience! It is just like the photos, which is to say very charming. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean, with extras like unusually luxurious towels. I also appreciated how easy it was for us to stay with our dachshund. For example, we had a door from our room opening to a sitting porch, with easy access to their lovely gardens. The common sitting room with coffee/tea, games and fireplace is also very charming and inviting. The breakfast was delicious, and the innkeeper has all the qualities one hopes for in a host. I will definitely stay again!

Wonderful visit. Close to Clarence Town Park and several antique shops. Very friendly innkeeper, cozy seating in the parlor by the fire, and tasty breakfast. Just a lovely time at Asa Ransom House.

The reception was warm and friendly. The proprietor was very flexible when I wished to change my room. The facilities are impeccably clean and the atmosphere is cozy. All in all, a delightful experience.

Loved the property and the history of the place. Breakfast was really good and I was allowed to invite a friend for $30. Very homey, and not far from the Clarence antique markets.

This is such a beautiful inn! I truly enjoyed my stay, especially since I was there during the holidays and everything was decorated beautifully and festive. Bradley is a great host! Loved the breakfast too.
