"A cheery spot. "

We were lucky to have a warm, sunny day for our visit. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We were told about areas of interest as well as local restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. The town was fun to explore and the hike to the falls was spectacular. Breakfast, the next morning was delicious with too many choices. This was a wonderful stay.

This was really comfortable for a weekend stay. Breakfast was fantastic with great choice, although slightly limited by the time on offer (only 8-9am. If this was extended to 10am that would be great). We were greeted on arrival with a very warm welcome and the room was spotlessly clean with a brilliant bathroom, although we did experience no hot water on one of the mornings. More wardrobe and hanging space would have been advantageous as well. Overall, this was a lovely B&B with lovely decorated rooms and a great breakfast on offer for only £5! We also took advantage of their offer of a packed lunch which was good value for money and we appreciated this for our ongoing trip. Would recommend staying here if needing to be based near or around Callander.

The staff was outstanding. They made us feel very welcome and responded to all requests very quickly. The location was terrific with a short walk into town. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of foods and beverages. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. We throughly enjoyed our two nights and highly recommend it.

The Abbotsford is a welcoming and friendly lodge that catered for all my needs in respect of what I had to do in Callander. The location to one end of the main street is quiet, which together with the comfortable room makes for a restful night.
