When we arrived theyd just opened after refrbishment. There were a few minor teething prnlemd but the room was great, the level of service was v professional, but the food... If you dont book evening meal youre going to regret it; fantastic value and amazing flavours and standards. Thoroughly recommend it.

I found this hôtel outstanding in every respect. My only regret is that I was there for only one night and was going out for dinner - because they clearly have a good restaurant and a good bar, and breakfast was very good. Next time - and there will be a next time - I shall dine there too.

Although check-in took an hour because the system was down, the place is lovely and we are happy with our one night stay. Very unique house with 18 rooms! Clean. We loved the caramel bars left with the coffee
