ibis Gyor

my first time to stay here after covid. not soo much changed, standart ibis room, nice and comfortable. bathroom also standart for ibis standarts, clean and big. breakfast with good selectiıon and good bread.

This is one of the few modern, new hotels in Gyor and definitely a very good option for exploring the city. A new build, purpose built property, it offers everything you'd expect from the IBIS brand at very good value. You can stroll to the old town and everything the city has to see very easily. The hotel is also a very close walk to the newer aspects of Gyor, such as the indoor shopping mall. If you arrive by train, the hotel is a relatively short walk (about 10 mins) from the station, but there are some annoying one way pedestrian crossings en route, that are certainly irritatingly inconvenient. Parking is available at the hotel on site. The staff are very nice, very welcoming and very friendly. They are all wearing masks due to the COVID restrictions and guests need to wear them in the public spaces. The staff will gladly offer suggestions on where to do and what to see. Rooms are standard IBIS. A comfortable bed with clean linens, space for luggage and hanging clothes, a good working desk space, chair, excellent free WIFI, flat screen TV (which I didn't use so I can't comment on the channels) and excellent heating/cooling. Thankfully the large window also opens for fresh air. Bathrooms have a large walk in shower with the usual IBIS body/hair wash. The water pressure was strong, but the shower head was not very effective. The water temperature kept changing during use. The basin water pressure and temperature was much more consistent. Towels were a bit old. Some were torn. But they were clean. House keeping is provided daily. Breakfast was the usual IBIS fare, but did vary from day to day in small ways. The only negative was the fresh fruit. It was somewhat limited to some wrinkled up, soft apples, although on my last day, some citrus was available. All in all, a good selection and certainly more than enough to get you going. It was however a bit worrying to see dogs allowed in the cafe. There's a room on site for guests to cook their own food and doing laundry. There's also a fridge in the kitchen for guests, but not in the rooms. I got a good rate and you always know you can rely on IBIS for consistency. The location is ideal for Gyor.

Wir waren für eine Zahnarztbehandlung in Györ und reisten mit dem euronight-Zug. Das Hotel liegt nur 10 min vom Bahnhof entfernt. Und auch die Altstadt mit dem wunderschönen Adventmarkt ist in 15 min erreichbar.

Das Hotel weist die übliche gute Qualität von Ibis-Hotels vor. Das Zimmer ist ein bisschen grösser als das durchschnittliche. Das Personal war freundlich. Daher ist es eine empfehlungswerte Unterkunft. Die Klimaanlage hatte jedoch recht niedrigen Kühleffekt.

Minden rendben volt. Igazából jobb volt, mint amit a képek alapján vártam. Egy pici nüansz, ez valószínűleg adottság, és nem ők tehetnek róla: a reggeli zuhanyzásnál eléggé ingadozott a víz hőfoka, volt, hogy ki is kelett állni alóla. De azért nem volt forró, csak kevésbé konfortos. Szóval ajánlható abszolút.

We stayed in this hotel on our way to Belgrade. Everything was perfectly arranged, There was nothing to worry about.. There was an underground parking. The rooms were clean and tidy. We could even leave in the middle of the night to continue our journey.

Location : OK - 10min walk to the center, 10 min walk to shopping mall Arkad. Old Fashion : still heaving old Ibis "flowers" design ( which I personally like) Room : standard Ibis - OK, all clean DO NOT take room facing main street. Even during the night - very noisy. Staff - nice , helpful Breakfast - standard Ibis, nothing special, but nothing to complain. Parking : AVOID underground parking. Dark, narrow, some strage "down the hill" parkig spaces. If you come by car, park on the ground. Wi)fi - ok
