Not much! It was over priced, and we saw a motel for half the price down the road.

We didn’t have any water the 1st day, and they told us it was a mechanical problem. We found out later they were filling the pool, so the wen’t truthful, and they wouldn’t adjust our bill for the inconvenience.

Belle Isle Motel is right outside Bar Harbor, about a 15 minute drive to downtown and Acadia National Park. I stayed one night and mainly chose this motel because it is pet friendly and has a pool. I stayed in Room 2, which was a larger room according to the website. The room was great, clean and comfortable. The AC worked great. The bed was a king and was comfortable. There is a grab n go breakfast with a couple decent snacks, all pre- packaged, It was helpful to start the day.

The pool was completely out of order and it appeared to not be working for some time, especially when reading other reviews and looking at the dates of the other guests. The day I arrived was warm for Bar Harbor and I was very disappointed that the pool was not working. The need to update the Web site to show it is closed. Also the water pressure in the shower was pretty low, but the water was hot, which was important. The breakfast was so-so...grab and go, pre-packaged Sara-lee snacks, like others have mentioned. Don't expect anything hot and fresh.

I loved the property, the greenery was relaxing and great for my pup.

My USB charging ports didn't work in my room.

Offering was pretty typical, waffles, cereal, bread, bagels, etc. Dining area was small, only two tables inside. There were tables available outside on a deck/porch with rotting soffits and facia overhead, which was not appealing.

Facility clean but needs a lot of TLC. Furniture was clean but needed to be refinished or replaced.

Room was very clean but Very small. Location beautiful and staff pleasant and helpful.

Rooms are small but they have great classic decor. It has the vintage experience that we appreciate. Very quiet and peaceful.
