Art Hotel

We arrived after midnight to a dark hotel, but after ringing the doorbell we were still able to check in. It was a short drive from here to the Mestre train station where we could easily get to Venice. Only downside was low water pressure in the shower.

I don't understand why this hotel is only listed as a 2 star as it was clearly much nicer than that. Very clean, well kept, and staff was exceptional. Even though the breakfast was continental, did not come with eggs, we asked for some and the staff went out of there way to get us some anyway. This was a very good suprise as we got it cheap and was expecting the worst. Everytime I visit Venice, I will stay there as it was only a 15 minute ride away from the island and the island prices were at least 3 to 5 times as much - and not even as nice.

Staff was great. Easy access to bus line in Venice. Nice little eatery across street where Roberto speaks great English and he can help you get around. This is not a luxury hotel, it is for someone that is on a budget and wants something clean. The breakfast is yogurt and cereal with pastries. Enjoy the art hotel.

The hotel is very far from Venice. The bus ride takes about 45 minutes to almost an hour (depending on time of day). Advice to those who book the hotel: After getting off from St. Lucia train station, the bus stops are located to the right, past the bridge. Purchase your ticket for bus 7 for mirano. If you are coming from the airport, take the airport shuttle or bus 5 for the bus stop in venice and take bus 7 for mirano. The staff members are very friendly.

All staffs except for one did provide good customer service. The only one who is male and tall guy working at the reception was rudely talking to customer which made me not very comfortable.

We loved our stay, it was a great hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, the hotel was well kept and it was very pretty. Lots of art (as the name states), a fun and comfortable place to stay. Very close to bus lines to Venice, the surrounding area includes a supermarket and other types of food. Very friendly.

We found this hotel to be very satisfactory for the amount we were charged. It is quite a way out from Venice but you can get a bus just around the corner that takes you there. The staff were not very friendly though and didn't give us much helpful information of the area.

Very handy to good eating places. Very nice cheap pizza place around corner. Very good self service breakfast. hole in handbasin lead to huge flood onto the floor and clothing

but the price was right for us and rooms weren't as bad/small as some people wrote, we saw one that even had a small desk area in it. The bathroom did pretty much flood each time we used the shower but that seems the norm in most of Europe! The bus does come right outside the hotel but it takes about 40 minutes to get to Venice, if you want to be closer to Venice maybe try Mestre but it might still be quite expensive.

only way to get to the city center was by bus and it's an hours drive each way and costs 3 euros and doesnt run late into the night. hotel room was very small - barely enough room to walk. bathroom was tiny and overcrowded. no water pressure and no shower stall - just a 2x2 enclosure with curtain around it which kept touching you everytime you moved! musty moldy curtains. but it did have a window to air it out. beds were soft and saggy.
