"Love Catania! Hated the hotel."

4.0

The staff didn't speak any english, apart from a few words, which made it difficult getting about. Its very far away from anything, the closest supermarkets is a 30 minute walks and never open. They do not have basic ammenities, ashtrys, toilet roll, coffee making, no pool or one close by. Do not go to this Hotel unless you can drive, but dont expect a parking space, to be comfortable in your room or to have any fun as its run by strick nuns. Do however go to Catania, I loved it so much I've accepted a placement over there for a year.

"Good"

4.0

Cheap is probably the only good reason for staying here. Or, well, its not that bad, just that the location is a well bit off the map and the staff aint to helpful. We had a car, but during our ride round Sicily this was by far the most difficult hotel to find and with the lamest surroundings.

"Beautiful View"

6.0

From town center, it's about a 4km walk uphill. Highly recommend taking taxi and have the address handy (be sure to negotiate taxi fare before getting in the taxi). The hotel is well kept, very neat, with a picturesque view of Mt. Etna to the North, and town center to the South. The hotel room was a little small, but enough space for two. The concierge speak little English, but were very helpful and pleasant. My only complaint is the internet service. The only wifi service available is located in the lobby and it's "pay by the hour". I would recommend this hotel to a friend, but don't bother to bring your laptop.

Hotel is good value for money. Breakfast is ok. Room (triple room) ok. Parking available on 1st come 1st serve basis --- however one needs to leave the car keys @ reception!!!. Had to park outside since I didn’t leave the keys at reception. Hotel is very clean. all in all good for a night stay or a few days to visit Catania. hotel staff some OK others not so OK.

"noisy hotel"

6.0

We only spend two nights at this hotel. our room was clean but very noisy (foot steps, door closing, water running). When the occupant in the next room take a shower it sounds like he or she is using our shower.

"Great hotel, great staff, so helpful and accomodating!"

10.0

the room was basic and the beds a little hard but for the price it was amazing. had a view of etna from the room. there's a bus from outside that takes you straight into the city and the sea isn't that much further than there. the staff are so helpful with anything you need. we decided to go on the etna and siracuse trips organised by the hotel and they were well worth the money. not all the staff speak english but that didnt stop them helping as much as they could. i would recomend this hotel to anyone.

"Pleasant surprise"

10.0

Not the best location if you have no car, but what a pleasant surprise in general! This is a seven story high-rise about 2 miles out of city centre. A well maintained, family friendly, spacious, safe and pleasant place to stay. Breakfast was an absolute delight and massive by Sicilian standards we've seen in other hotels. If they work on the poor looking bathrooms (showers especially!) the hotel may get that third star and it will be well deserved. By far the best hotel we've stayed in in Sicily.

"Terrible Hotel. Nice Staff."

2.0

This is a terrible hotel. Cheap, true, but terrible. The room is so small that the bag doesn't fit. I had to place it on top of the desk. The bathroom is another mess. The sink is inside the shower!!! I'm not kidding. There is no cold air-conditioning (just heater). So it is a no-no during summer. The location is the worse possible in Catania. If I didn't have a GPS I could never find it. The parking lot that they say they have fits 4 cars, meaning that mine had to sleep on the street. The only thing that good in this hotel is the front desk guys. Very friendly! So, the message here is you get what you pay. I will never stay there again even if it is the only hotel in Catania.
