Taormina Park Hotel

Sijainti oli erinomainen – lyhyt kävelymatka keskustaan ja upea näkymä merelle. Hotellin allasalue on todella viihtyisiä, ja henkilökunta ystävällistä. Aamiainen oli italialainen eli ei ehkä suomalaiselle runsain, mutta silti hyvä ja riittävä – tuoreet croissantit ja espresso toivat mukavasti paikallista tunnelmaa.

Wi‑Fi voisi olla hieman nopeampi, ja ilmastointi piti välillä ääntä. Muuten kaikki toimi hyvin – pieniä yksityiskohtia lukuun ottamatta erinomainen kokemus.

The location was excellent, with the town centre only a short walk away. The views were also a highlight of the stay. The breakfast staff were consistently friendly, welcoming and helpful.

We do not normally leave negative reviews, but after our stay we felt it was important to share our experience. The location is excellent and only a short walk from the town centre, but unfortunately the hotel itself was a significant disappointment. We knew from booking that this was an older hotel and were actually looking forward to some traditional character and charm. However the reality was far more dated and worn than we had anticipated from the photos and description online. Many areas felt neglected rather than charming, and the overall condition of the property did not match our expectations. We stayed in one of the higher category rooms on the 4th floor, yet there was visible damp damage on the ceiling, a musty smell and décor that felt very tired. Several facilities, including the gym and spa, were also not functioning properly during our stay. What disappointed us most was the lack of response when we raised our concerns. We brought these issues to the hotel’s attention early in our stay and were hoping for some form of solution or communication, but received neither. The breakfast staff were friendly and pleasant throughout, however this was not our general experience with the rest of the hotel team. The views and location are undoubtedly the hotel’s strongest assets. If you are simply looking for a place in a convenient location, it may suit your needs. However based on its 4 star rating and online presentation, we expected a higher standard and left feeling that the hotel has not kept pace with what they showcase themselves to be.

Excellent location and value. Walkable to Taormina main areas and sites. Room upgrade had an exceptional views, with 2 nice balconies. Mt Etna visible on the clearer days. Sea views as well. Nice pool. Parking on site fee a charge. Clean room.

Decor a bit dated, but charming enough. Breakfast was ok. Coffee below expectations. Biggest complaint was next door neighbor. Woman was a chain smoker. Constant smoking degraded balcony time. Avoided her presence as must as possible.

The location and the view from the balcony of our room were excellent. Also private parking is nice to have, otherwise it would be very difficult because of the location

Everything is very old. I think it is time to spend some money to renovate the hotel. There was bad smell in the room coming from the toilette.
