Quality Inn Augusta West Near Fort Gordon

Our 4-day stay was a mix of good service and serious health concerns. While the manager was helpful in quickly moving us after our first room was found uncleaned (hair on sheets, crumbs, and trash), and the breakfast (eggs, sausage, fruit) was a great convenience for our work schedule, the environment was problematic. ​Despite requesting a non-smoking room for asthma, we were surrounded by guests smoking right outside our door. The hotel desperately needs a designated smoking area away from guest rooms. We returned home very sick after our stay, likely due to the poor air quality and initial lack of cleanliness.

I enjoyed the location of good stores and restaurants and things to do nearby

My room was dirty behind the headboard along the walls baseboards sticky same throughout the room Bedding was stained and was discolored

The room was dirty and dusty and the fridge was old and moldy it has dirty towels on the floor and the trimming was coming up off the floor
