Villa La Estancia Beach Resort & Spa Riviera Nayarit - All Inclusive

Overall a great stay. Beautiful pool area. Very nice gym which was always empty. Nice breakfast buffet. Also the access to the resort next door was great as they had more restaurants. Only complaint would be the service at the pool. We are not owners there and it did seem like owners got preferential service--faster drinks, help finding chairs. Also all chairs are saved with towels by 9am which is inconvenient.

The room was nice and very large. There was an issue with food left in the fridge and staff were very responsive cleaning it out for us.

It was or first time traveling to Nuevo Vallarta ! It was amazing and a great place for families

My daughters (12 yrs and 14 yrs) and I were looking for a quiet and low key holiday. Villa La Estancia delivered. It was beautiful and immaculately maintained. Our room met our needs and offered ample closet space for all of us. The dining options between both Villa La Estancia and Villa del Palmar were excellent. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to meet our needs. Having the option to be at a quieter pool or a more lively pool was a bonus. We will definitely be back.

The hotel is very nice. But I think during this busy time the number of staff was not enough. Otherwise the staff are nice.

Cleanliness and staff friendly property. The rooms are big and great for families. But pretty much that's where my positive reviews ends. The towel situation is tragic. Barely any towels and if you need a clean dry one you better watch like a hawk the blue container coming out of the hotel. Only two restaurants at Estancia but it says 5 on Expedia. The wait for food is at least an hour and if you have small kids good luck! Morning buffet breakfast is tragic no options whatsoever unless you order but then if you want to wait an hour then be my guest. You can tell the property is doing the minimal possible so they get more profit. Only one bar and it's only swim up. You better wake up at 7am to tip someone to reserve you a chair. Then for everything you order you have to wait to sign the "bill" even if all inclusive or they will hunt you down to your room to sign. The menu options at the restaurants were super limited but the quality of food was great. I was pleasantly surprised. My favorite restaurant was the international restaurant at Flamingos. The service and the food were amazing. The servers were the best! And the food came out so quick. I was very pleased. Some entertainment at Flamingos it was ok. I asked if we can check out at 2pm they 12 pm but will make it happen if I pay $130. But my all inclusive ends at 12pm. So I paid $139 to stay in the room for 2 hrs. What a deal! Not! I don't think I am coming back.

Great family friendly resort!

Reason we went back to same resort as last year was because of Santana (spectacular pool side service)! Can’t say enough wonderful things about him, excellent representation for the resort, fabulous customer service skills, and so personable. Never have I experienced anyone who takes so much pride in ensuring your needs are met and you get to relax and just enjoy your time. Even when we couldn’t get in his section due to his popularity, if he noticed we were looking for someone, he’d be there to aid in ordering for us. Our fourth stay at this gorgeous resort we like to call our “second home”! Food at all the restaurants was amazing and service is top notch! Such a perk that Flamingoes next door is also accessible and included in the all inclusive package. House keepers did an amazing job and turn down with chocolates every night was a treat. Don’t hesitate to book if you’re considering this resort! A couple things to know before arriving. If you plan to take a taxi anywhere pay in pesos or the drivers will rip you off with their exchange rate when you pay with USD and they don’t take credit cards. We ended up using Uber which was very easy and safe. When using your credit card choose pesos as the currency because your credit card will give you the best exchange rate. The beach massage booths also take credit cards and we tipped in cash.
