The Ben Mhor Hotel, Bar & Restaurant

Location was ideal, staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The room was nice and clean.

The room was a little tired (shower doors didn't shut fully, shower head rail quite loose). The main double bed in our room was wobbly, squeaky and the bed knobs were square with sharp corners (I have several bruises from walking into them).

Value for money is exceptional, both the accommodation and the food. Place is a bit dated tbh, and the bar can get unkempt, but its still a great place to stay in the middle of town.

A semi refurbished pub hotel in a great location. Free parking and great access to many woodlands, walks, and distilleries. Great hot water in the shower. The room was very comfortable and warm. The restaurant serves all meals but can be slow to get food to the table, time to enjoy. It has gluten free , vegetarian and vegan options for good prices, which was great.

Location of hotel was very good for all amenities. Plenty parking space at back of hotel although the road in needs a bit of attention to remove the craters in it. Bar was good with plenty of choice for drinks. Food was good with a varied choice of menu. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I could not work out why you would have the extra complexity of a card given to you at check in to pay for breakfast as the breakfast was in with the cost of the room. The other thing is the room had very squeaky floors. Also, the stairs outside the room wall (leading up to the next floor) where my bed was against was also very very noisy.
