The Gananoque Inn

The breakfasts were perfect. Great choices and great taste. The view and location was excellent. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Although the room was beautiful, it wasn't cleaned the best. The night table was dusty, we had no face or hand towels the first day, and there was a stain on one of the bed throws at the bottom of the bed.

- Fenster ließen sich nur teilweise öffnen, daher eingeschränkte Frischluftzufuhr - So viele technische Geräte im Zimmer, die man kaum braucht. Aber ein Kühlschrank hat gefehlt. - keine Teeauswahl, nur ganz minderwertiger schwarzer Tee aus der Thermoskanne - gar nichts frisches zum Frühstück (überhaupt kein Obst und Gemüse) - Preise zu hoch für das doch mächtig in die Jahre gekommene Hotel

The location was great, enjoyed being able to sit by the water in the evening.

Our room location was a BIG disappointment. Large picture window that looked out onto the back of another building. When we asked to change rooms we were told no this is what booking.com is given, yet there were empty rooms on the floor above us. Will NEVER return!

- You can't beat the location if you are in Gananoque. It is the best and the view from our room was breathtaking.

- Maybe they should not offer breakfast. It was not good at all, although the staff tried their best to accommodate us. The quality of the food itself is not great. I would plan elsewhere for breakfast - There were no complementary water bottles in the room and we were told to fill up the water from the washroom for our drinking purposes, which is not ideal. It should not be that difficult to atleast have a water fountain for drinking so that people can fill their reusable bottles if no bottles are being offered in the room.
