Convenient, clean,price was good

First night was great Second night people were smoking weed somewhere and it was in our room all night Also, there was a teenager on the floor outside our room talking on her speaker phone at night for an hour Hotel was great but the customers were rude

Disappointed that breakfast was not included. Somehow missed that when reserving the room. Facilities were great but missed the breakfast and 24 hr coffee.

See above. Unfortunately will probably stay elsewhere for those reasons.

I am a Platinum level member and I stayed at this Marriott Courtyard in May 2023 for graduation and for all the 2023 Virginia Tech home football games. The hotel is clean, the food is delicious and everything is always set up perfectly. But- the true differentiator is the staff. They are the definition of 'exceptional customer service'. They are kind, asking if I need anything, always wishing me a great day and so helpful. Even better is that the general manager, Mr Norman, has a hands on approach to ensuring the hotel is consistently great (great leaders create great teams) I don't ever consider staying anywhere else when I'm in Blacksburg since the customer service and other factors I need for a great stay are consistently great at this hotel.

Breakfast was great. We had loaded tots and quinoa veggie egg bowl. Both were delicious and the Starbucks coffee was perfect!

We got back to the hotel after 10pm and would have liked to get a nightcap, but the bar was closed.

Horrendous water pressure in shower! Virtually impossible to rinse off soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.

Good visit last weekend in October. They had a football game on Thursday night but were kind enough to send us an email that there would not be early check-in on Friday, when we were to arrive. We got there about 2:30 PM, but they had our room ready. Great staff there. We stayed 2 nights and they did pick up our room after one night, that's becoming a rarity in the hotel business, very much appreciated. Husband left his prescription pills, housekeeping found them and they were so helpful to mail back to us. Thank you very much!!!

No coffee station in the lobby area due to there being a Starbucks on site. There is a coffee maker in the room but limited on additives (no Stevia/Splenda, liquid creamer). Can't buy a bottle of beer after 10PM which is when the kitchen/bar closes even on the weekends. Other than those negatives, the hotel was clean and the staff was polite. The tv's have Netflix built in. The indoor pool had plenty of towels available. The exercise room is the typical hotel style but at least they had a water cooler to refill bottles.
