ICONA Diamond Beach

Had a wonderful stay with friends. The room always feels welcoming when we return. Our housekeeper Jennifer always organizes our mess above and beyond

Our experience at the Icona was beyond perfection! From the moment we checked in, it was obvious that service is a priority here. We had arrived in advance of my daughter's wedding at the hotel, and I immediately needed assistance as I would be providing welcome bags for all of our guests at the Icona and their sister hotel the Mahalo down the street. Sue and Erika immediately put me at ease that all would be handled, even offering to take the bags for the Mahalo over themselves. They communicated with me when a few snags occurred (e.g. people asking for bags that were not on my list), and in the end all was well. They went over and above and always with a big smile. A shout out to Earl as well, who was also helpful at check in and when he expediently fixed an issue in our room. Besides the service, immaculate doesn't quite cover it! Not only the lovely, spacious rooms, but the hallways themselves were spotless - I even saw someone dusting the baseboards! Lovely hotel, amazing wedding venue, and a location that is breath taking and can't be beat at the Jersey shore! Thanks so much Sue, Erika and Earl - as well as the nice hostess in the restaurant (sorry I missed her name!), and truly all of the staff we encountered.

From beginning to end we received excellent service, everyone was kind at the front desk Marge, Erica and Bryant were really warm and welcoming. We at breakfast everyday at the restaurant which offered great food and wonderful service especially Barbara, Alex, Nancy and Angel. The hotel graciously upgraded our room to one with and amazing view and big bathroom. The location is nothing short of perfect, with a spectacular view. Beach staff was great, especially John. My whole family was so happy and are looking forward to returning.

No kettle or warm water for tea in room or downstairs.

The room is super clean and also great view. We stay at 6th floor which is great no one is above us.

It has been our family tradition to stay in Cape May every summer, but two years ago we booked at the Icona in Diamond Beach. We thought it would be a downgrade, but that was definitely not the case! In fact, it was an upgrade! The family really enjoyed our stay the first time, so we stayed there again this year. The place is immaculate. The staff members are all very helpful and courteous. The beach facilities are second-to-none. We even like be the decor. It’s looking like this will be our new family tradition. I would be remiss if I didn’t add this part… We left a few times behind during our last stay. They packed them up and shipped them to us. They were very helpful in tracking the items down, and corresponding with me. Icona is top notch! I highly recommend it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The room was very clean but had a slight musty smell after we turned down the AC. The sliding glass doors should have been lubricated, they were not easy to open or close. The beach view was excellent on the pool side. The restaurant was good but overpriced in my opinion. Overall a nice place in a great location. Would definitely recommend.
