The lady that owns it is a Veteran who took time to speak with us and explain all instructions, amenities and nearby attractions. Her mon stopped by, and we all had a great conversation. We told them we were looking around for things to do, and they suggested a nearby festival, Dollywood, and others including Cades Cove which is where we ended up going and had a marvelous time (always wanted to go to Cades, got to see a beautiful black bear)! Her mom also mentioned they have a special suite upstairs past the beautiful winding staircase with a jacuzzi, and we definitely want to book it for a special occasion! This hotel was excellent! They had a mini “convenience” store behind the counter with snacks, toiletries, and anything else you might need. Best thing about this hotel was the mini movie theatre. You could pick out any movie you wanted to watch, and they would play it for you in the theatre. They also had a popcorn machine, so it was just like being at the movies. Our room (and the hotel) smelled amazing! I felt like I was in Bath and Body works. The room was spacious, beds were comfy, and there was a beautiful, full-length, stand-up mirror in the corner. Room and shower were super modern and beautiful. Guests were outside the hotel viditing with one another in old-fashion rocking chais (so wonderful)! Loved everything about it!

The staff is super friendly and the hotel has a very 'family' feel. It seemed clean and was in a convenient location. The only complaints would be that the cot was exceptionally uncomfortable (even judging by cot standards) and the breakfast left a lot to be desired. Also, there is a train that runs regularly right across the street. It was no problem for our stay but if you're a light sleeper, you may need ear plugs. Overall would definitely stay there again.

The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. The hotel is extremely clean. They don't have a restaurant, but there is one next door that serves just about anything you would want. It's a quaint town and a unique experience.
