Salt Lick Safari Lodge

Great location, amazing atmosphere and view to marvel. Excellent, excellent staff. In the room, there is no air conditioner, phone, TV, and lousy wifi. Food was good.

All the restaurant staff were amazing, especially Omar. Rooms towels need to changed and we didn't get any toiletries eg loofas, shower cap etc Rooney was great too during the game drivers. Overall it was an amazing experience

Stunning view; We enjoyed watching several kinds of animals and birds from the hotel’s terrace. Foods were delicious as well. Incredibly quality hotel for this price. Highly recommended.

This was our last safari lodge before going to Diani Beach Resort, and a bit of a disappointment. The lodge is up on stilts, but not sure why. No one could tell me. To get to my room, i needed to climb several circular stairs (I was on the upper floor), without functioning hand rails. Staff walked my luggage up, but when I wanted to check out, I was left to my own means. The room had no phone, or way of notifying reception that I needed help getting my luggage down the spiral staircase. Because the handrails were not secure, I just a waited until a staff passed nearby, and asked for help, then they eagerly assisted me. The room was nice, but had no balcony or patio, nor much of a view. We had done 2 weeks of safari's, and we were quite tired by then. There was a wonderful thunderstorm that evening, which was nice. This property is owned by the same company who owns Baobab in Diani, and it is the rest stop from safaris, to the beach. Interesting note: I ordered a screwdriver at the bar. My billed showed $2.33 for orange juice, and $2.33 for vodka, and ended up charging me only $4.66. ?? Left a good tip! All the staff worked sooo hard.

The kindest and most accommodating staff. They made my birthday special. Beautiful architecture too and cosy meals. Definitely returning.

We had a lovely experience. The service was excellent.

It’s nice but when we open google map to be in lodge it’s send me to the old one not this one so you need to change it from google map
