The Postcard Motel

It's one of the better options in the area. The place does have a lot of room for improvement. They have tried to update it but it could have better finishes. We just needed a place to sleep before a hike, and it was enough. I got a text with my room number and code, but needed to check in at the desk anyway, and got 2 different room numbers and the codes didn't work for any of them.

This motel has potential to be a fun, retro, vintage motel but has not yet arrived. Bed linens were close to non-existent for the weather (bring blankets), shower ran brown water from old pipes (could not bear to use), matress was uncomfortable, curtains are thin...

Nice little place for the night. Very clean inside the room, bed was comfortable, and there was a very helpful employee when we had issues with the tv.

It was a nice value, and it was where I needed it to be. The town was interesting and fun.

Though the hot water in the sink was hot, the water in the tub only got just above body temperature. Just enough to be tolerable.

If you like cold showers and hot loud rooms this is a place. Our room appeared to be only partly renovated. No place to hang a towel and bathtub was a mess All we wanted was a little r&r before continuing our road trip home after visiting the havasupai falls and hiking many long miles. Wish we had gone down the road a little further

The mattress needs replacement - most uncomfortable, this applies to both rooms we occupied.

Cute spot for a quick overnight stay along route 66! Clean and tidy rooms, next to places to grab a bite to eat and drink. Passcodes sent to email to get into room was nice. Cons- short shower heads..like fine if your 5'6 and under, unable to inquire about hour early check-ins as office is closed until 3pm at check-in time. All manageable though. Was nice.
