The Postcard Motel

Gut für eine Zwischenübernachtung. Das Hotel war ruhig.

Das Doppelbett hat eher die Größe eines Einzelbetts. Die ganze Einrichtung und das Hotel scheint aus den guten Zeiten der Route sixty-six übrig geblieben zu sein. Das gilt insbesondere die Badewanne. Und das meine ich nicht positiv. Allem ist das Hotel völlig überteuert fast hundert Dollar für ein Zimmer. Für meine Begriffe vielleicht die Hälfte Wert.

Quirky route 66 motel, which was good to experience. The room was what I expected of a route 66 motel. Loved the vintage furniture mixed with modern touches. Room appeared clean, but after mopping up a spillage I noticed that the tissue was black, the floor was very dirty and our feet became dirty after we showered. Air conditioning unit is very close to the bed and noisy, we were freezing but the weather was too hot to turn it off. The reception was closed on a Tuesday, which I hadn't realised. Phoned the number but no answer, I had not received the email with check in info because I was avoiding roaming charge, which I had to then incur to get our room code. Glad to have the experience of a route 66 motel, but it wasn't for us.

A cute little retro motel. Very nice stay.

The Postcard Motel is quiet, clean, and Management is very nice. I highly recommend staying here.
