Residence Inn by Marriott Roanoke Airport

Easy check in, Jessie was very polite. Can't understand why they charge $5.00 for parking. Our room was clean although they put us in a hearing impaired room not sure why but it did not matter same room only the doorbell. Microwave did not work had no power to it. Ice maker did not work but they have an ice maker at end of hall. but no ice buckets so take a bowl or pot. Free breakfast, only one person trying to do everything. Go there no coffee, eventually another pot showed up, but no Half and half. Went to get oatmeal it was empty, she did make more but very watery, Could not find plates or silverware, finally at the kitchen door a cart appeared with paper plates and plasticware. The hotel is supposed to being getting remolded which it definitely needs . Probably will not stay here anymore especially since they charge a senseless parking fee even if only $5.00, no reason for hotel basically around nothing.

We have stayed here many times. We are always pleased with everything! This time a surprise. The owner of this franchise decided to charge $5.00 a day. for parking!!! Why? Greedy!

Traveling with 2 young kids we wanted a room with a full sized fridge/freezer, enough room for 2 pack n plays, clean floors for our kids to crawl around on, and a full breakfast, and this hotel checked all of those boxes and then some. As a bonus, there were actually 3 high chairs in the breakfast area. This may not seem like a big deal, but I think every other hotel I’ve stayed at with my kids has only had 1, so I can’t tell you how much of a luxury it is to have enough high chairs for multiple kids. Staff are super friendly, grounds are immaculate, and the location is convenient to everything in Roanoke. Can’t say enough good things about this property.
