met my need for a quick trip to visit family and had a pool

the breakfast dining room was very warm . and was picked over when we went down.

The breakfast was good fresh and appetizing. Plenty to choose from. The coffee was very hot which was a change for hotel coffee because usually is is luke warm at best. I would reccomend this hotel to friends in future.

The bed was horribly uncomfortably. The fitted sheet didn’t fit the bed either.

Stayed here while in town for a family obligation. From check-in to check-out every employee that I came in contact with was friendly and hospitable. The room was nice, the housekeeping team did a great job as the room that I stayed in was very clean. The decor is that of an older Hampton, but it looks like the carpet is newer-and the large TV seems newer, too. Upon check-in I had an issue with the A/C which I was able to correct myself to get the A/C working, but it cut off again during the night resulting in a late night/early morning tinkering. Once I got it to going again it kept on, and kept the room comfortable, but was noisy. I found the bed to be too firm for my liking, and my pillows were lumpy, which didn't really make for the best night sleep. Someone who likes a very firm bed may not have an issue, and the pillows could have just been isolated to the room that I was staying in. The free wifi was slow and choppy during peak times-but not enough to really cause much issue, just slower to load websites. The shower, while showing its age, and not in the best condition, had great water pressure and I had no issue with the water temperature, it was hot every time that I showered. The high shower head made showering easy for someone tall. One of the elevators wasn't working properly which caused us to feel as if we were stuck. I avoided using it from that point forward. The breakfast buffet area is not laid out the best so during peak time expect to wait in line, especially for the waffle machine. My room was on the front facing side of the building so I had no issue with road noise. The biggest takeaway from this stay was just how pleasant the staff was, particularly Chaz. I would stay here again and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to travel to that area.
