Great location! Easy to walk to Sunset Pier, Duvall Street, and next to the Truman White House.

We were there for four nights at the end of October. When we made the reservation, we were told we had the garden room on the first floor. Right before our trip we were told that they put in a larger room on the second floor. The problem was that I have a very bad knee, and you had to climb 30 very steep stairs on the outside of the building. At that point it was too late to find another place to stay. So, we struggled with the stairs for 5 days. We weren't able to take advantage of the breakfast, because we had no way to get it to our room. it would have been 80 steps up and down carrying a tray. We had a balcony with one good and one broken chair so we couldn't sit outside. P.S. we wanted ice, but that was in the basement. Needless to say, I won't be going back there.

Perfect location. Private. Walkable. Surprisingly spacious room and bathroom for such a historic building. Would definitely stay here again on a future trip to key west.

very charming, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The pool area could have been better, more furniture. Also an area to have breakfast possibly by the pool would have been a plus rather than eating in our room.
