En general bien con el hotel la unica observacion es que si compras la habitacion directamente con el hotel es mas barato que utilizando expedia

Located right in the center of town this hotel offers a very Mexican style hotel that might seem basic at first but the values comes in the details. Both breakfast and dinner are served here which is included. We are not talking just cheap pasta and a hotcake. It is good food with a soup and main plate for dinner and eggs with sweat bread ad coffee in the morning. This hotel has great value because of this and it feels very welcoming.

Creel was the beginning of our venture in to the Copper Canyon. It is a simple place and difficult to find a good cafe americano, but food was good, souvenirs were cheap and plentiful and it was nice to walk around. The hotel was very pulled together. The owner Caesar was knowledgeable and his guides were great, but be very careful of pricing. Write it down to make sure u r on same page.

Mixed experience. Close to town but far from reception area (2 blocks). Room building was still under construction (photo attached). Reception desk frequently unstaffed. Room was clean but lacked potable water and glasses, which were requested but never delivered. No privacy curtains on first floor room. Beds were comfortable.

Un día antes el Hotel Plaza MexicanaMargarita nos cambió de hotel, la molestia es que estaba pagada la reservación desde hace poco mas de cuatro meses, y esto lo hizo porque llegó un tour, muy mal que nos cambiaran a un hotel que nos dió cuartos aun incompletos, lo único que hay que reconocer, es que repetó el hotel que los desayunos y comidas incluidos en el paquete lo respetaron y estaban riquísimos, lo malo, es que teníamos que ir al hotel y nos quedaba como a 5 cuadras del otro hotel donde nos reubicaron.

Al momento de hacer check-in la persona de recepción nos dijo que ya no trabajaban con Hoteles.com y que no nos haría válida la reservación, que mientras nos iba a dar un cuarto pero seguramente nos iban a mover a otro lugar, así que nos hicieron lugar los dos primeros días, pero el tercero, nos dieron opción de irnos a un cuarto que renta una señora en una casa a 2 cuadras del hotel, pero nosotros ya habíamos pagado a través de Hoteles.com, además el cuarto que nos ofrecieron como opción no era de la misma calidad y nos pareció que no correspondía con el precio que pagamos, por lo tanto, decidimos no quedarnos la tercer noche y hacer el check out antes de tiempo, pidiendo la devolución de lo equivalente a lo pagado por la tercera noche.

We had a confirmed booking, expedia had already charged our credit card. When we arrived the condescending manager told us there was no room and we had to leave. Our expedia-confirmation didn't interest him at all. He presented us a mixture of lies that "the hotel is closed January to March", "it's Expedia's fault, happens all the time", " we are fully booked, the overbooking is Expedia's fault". Finally some employee of the hotel referred us to a sister of the owner who rents out private rooms where we stayed. We met other guests there with an identical experience. It turned out one or more large groups had booked at Plaza Marguerita, so many guests with prior bookings were evicted to make space for the more lucrative groups. Prior guest-ratings show thus happens frequently, but we didn't pay attention believing it would not happen to us - but it did! Obviously we didn't see the hotel-rooms and can't say anything about them but since it's obligatory to rate them we had to enter something.

I enjoyed staying at Margarita's. They took good care of us and the price is right, especially considering that the dinner and breakfast is included.
