This is the most awesome backpacker In New Zealand. I always enjoy more stays at the Rock Solid. Comfortable beds bunk beds single double rooms available They have a large lounge area on the 3rd level where you can watch streaming services DVDs etc The staff are always willing to help with activities around Rotorua. The kitchen is always clean and tidy There truely is a homely feel to this hostel and in no time at all you will have your feet up. Downstairs is a climbing wall. Staff onsite to help you whether your first time or an expert There is also a cafe and movie theatre So anytime in Rotorua as a solo traveler or in a group.I Know Dale and the team will be there to be of service to you You will learn why so many many keep coming back to Rock Solid

Very welcoming and open environment Loved the big picture windows where we could fully see the rock climbing operation next door Good kitchen facilities that were clean and in good order. Quiet after 10 p.m. enforced.
