Chalet Hotel Les Campanules

The hosts and all the staff were very warm and friendly. The shuttle service to and from the ski lifts and the train station made things so easy. Nice fireplace downstairs gives the Chalet a welcoming atmosphere. It’s close to Chamonix, just jump on the FREE train, it’s only a few stops. Definitely a place to come back to .

Excellent location and views

My kid got lot of insect bites (maybe bed bugs) while sleeping in this property.

This hotel was great. The location is amazing (although you have to drive, there isn't anything super close by). The point is that you are in the Alps looking up at Mont Blanc from your hotel bed. The view is incredible. Our room was one of the larger 4 person ones, so lots of space, large double door out to balcony view of valley and mountains. The beds were comfortable with nice duvets. We slept with doors open to fresh mountain air under the duvet. Super awesome sleep. The bath room was nice enough with very large soft towels. The shampoo/body wash worked great for him, maybe she would like her own (as typical). The couple that runs the place are SUPER friendly and helpful and speak well-enough English that we could communicate very well (we don't speak much French). The breakfast was very good, a typical French hotel breakfast plus scrambled eggs and some cooked potatoes and homemade jam that was just excellent. The bread was fresh and great as expected at a French hotel. VERY good fresh plain yogurt, the best of this trip. The hotel is even nicer inside than that photos online suggest. This would be a great place for a romantic getaway.

Our check in was amazing. The staff was so friendly. They extended our check out and we’re able to do our laundry for us. Everything was delightful. And a very easy walk from city center

Absolutely wonderful hotel with the kindest owners. Carina & Vincent couldn’t do enough to make guests feel welcomed. Set back from the road it’s wonderfully quiet. Make sure you get a Mountain View, you won’t be disappointed. We’d definitely stay again.

Vincent and staff were very kind, helpful and accommodating. They were even kind enough to allow me to practice my French with them! Though, my review would not do our stay justice if it were in French so English will have to do. Their recommendations of things to do and places to eat in the area were top notch. The hotel itself was very charming, affordable, and comfortable. And the breakfast was super! If I’m in the Chamonix-Mont Blanc area again, I will absolutely stay here!

Booked this last minute as rainy day on TMB trail, and this was the hotel along the way. At first, I was hesitant as manager was abrupt in my request to check in early (12pm), but then I think he realized I was wet and cold, and he was able to get me a room for which I was really grateful. With a moon checkout, I had a sweet room overlooking the town for 24 hours. Great breakfast. Short 5-10 min walk to town. Lovely stay, lovely cozy hotel.

Really friendly staff. Phillip who drive the shuttle bus was very helpful, and Vincent gave me a room with a superb view. The female staff were very helpful too. Lovely evening meal.
