Chalet Hotel Les Campanules

Staff are friendly and very helpful but the hotel is pretty isolated, so I wouldn't recommend you to stay there if you don't have a car. It's up on a hill so imagine walking up and down in winter days when there are no pedestrian paths on the driveways. Wifi is pretty unstable, so don't rely on doing some solid work that needs sending in the hotel. Especially in the rooms, lobby lounge area has better wifi reception. There's no lunch served at the hotel except crepes as snacks that can be ordered almost anytime in the day. Rooms are decent but not very well maintained, like I have a hole on my toilet door. Not sure if someone got mad and punch it...lol No lighting in the shower space, which is a bit strange.

Great location and a fabulous local lodge. Friendly staff, very good facilities including bar and fireplace. Good restaurant with local selection. You will need a car to get to the slopes.

Hotel offers rooms facing Mont Blanc well worth the extra. Food good, quiet location and staff really friendly and efficient. Good hotel reasonably priced that we will use again

We came to this hotel because of a recommendation from friends...now we will need to take them to dinner. It was beyond our expectations. Vincent, who runs the hotel, was a large part of our perfect stay. He placed us in a wonderful room...amazing view! However, the best part of our stay was the kindness shown during our stay by the staff. We especially loved sitting by the fire at night...a great place to relax or mingle. Paul and Val

This was a wonderful hotel for our family, two grandparents, two daughters and their husbands and two small children. Although the location is a bit remote, the drive to Chamonix was short and the train service was easy to negotiate. We appreciated the beautiful views and the peaceful location. The hotel staff were most helpful and suggested some terrific hikes. The breakfast buffet had a wonderful selection of food that satisfied all ages. The only negative comment that I have is that smoking is allowed on the balconies and every time we opened a window or door we were inundated with cigarette smoke rather than fresh mountain air.

The pillows are not comfortable. The guy at the front desk (he said he is the owner did not treat us very friendly.

Great breakfast and great communal room. Great views of Mont Blanc. I enjoyed our room though for 4 adults it's a bit small.

Somewhat out of the way location but nice to be away from hubbub of Chamonix and views of Mt Blanc incredible. Very easy access to town and mountains with car, plenty of parking although somewhat precarious due to being on a hill and tight spaces. Rooms were small without a lot of amenities but comfortable and the view incredible (worth the extra cost). Very large and nice common areas inviting guests to leave rooms and enjoy the hotel and other guests versus being held up in private room. Breakfast was excellent and worth extra cost. Dinners also nice but we ate mostly in Chamonix to enjoy the lively scene then come home for the quiet.
