"Exceptional Place to Stay"

We could not have been more pleased with our stay. Our family was greeted by two helpful staff on arrival. We were upgraded to a suite that was in excellent condition without asking, and there was even a welcome note with a coupon for a free marketplace item waiting in our room. Everything within the hotel was in excellent condition, and we very much enjoyed relaxing in the pool area surrounded by snow-covered trees. The breakfast in the morning would make anyone happy, and the coffee was so good that it didn't even need creamer. The location was also ideal being situated right off the highway and near Granite Peak, Wausau shopping & restaurants, DC Everest High School, and the local Community Center. This is a place I would stay at again and would recommend to others. Thank you!

Generally nice and very clean. Breakfast was better than most. Hot tub was nice, pool clean but cold. Bed was seriously too hard for me, but that’s personal preference.

The manager on duty (Drew) and GM (Mary) were very irresponsible. Concerns, phone calls, and emails were not addressed. The manager on duty even argued and told me to go back to my room and be quiet. I would not recommend this specific establishment to anyone, especially if you are a person of color.
