Great room and excellent staff

Warm welcome. Lovely staff. We were upgraded to a suite which was a lovely surprise. Perfect situation on the sea front.

Food was cooked to order in the restaurant which made the service a little slow but the quality was excellent.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer. Unser Zimmer verfügte über ein Balkon mit Meerblick. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Alles entsprechend der Beschreibungen. Es gab viel frisches Obst zum Frühstück. Man kann direkt am Strand essen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Restaurant ist für Vegetarier leider nicht geeignet.

The hotel has a charming and cozy feel to it. Located in a pedestrian strip right by the ocean, guests have access to what is basically an exclusive part of the beach, with sunbeds available for use (free of charge). The restaurant is very nice, with some tables placed on a relatively high deck by the water, which makes for some very pleasant meals. Despite being a Michelin rated restaurant, we thought the dinner was quite underwhelming. Breakfast on the other hand was amazing, with excellent variety in the best "Swedish" style, including muesli, nuts and grains, fresh fruits and filtered coffee. Overall we had a very relaxing stay at Marco Polo after our week-long road trip around Croatia. The area has some very nice restaurants and bars.
