Not quite ready for the start of the season

This was a beautiful property high up on the mountainside. It was just as the pictures showed. The staff were wonderful on the property. For breakfast every morning we really enjoyed talking with the waiter, he was great and the food and drinks were very good. The transportation is a challenge on this island but with the help of the front desk we were able to rent a car and it was fun driving around the island, visiting all the places we wanted. In town we walked a lot. It was great The only downside was the big pool was emptied due to the recent earthquakes and so we couldn’t enjoy the beauty of the infinity pool, but that was a natural disaster not the fault of the hotel itself. We would definitely stay here again, hopefully with the pool next time!

My Husband and I visited this location between Feb 8-14 for our 10yr Anniversary. Even though the island was evacuated because of the quakes our stay here was phenomenal! Theradore was excellent. The first night we landed we had fear and with his excellent service he had us feel “at home” and that transitioned through the entire stay. Lateshia Was so sweet and kind to us as well. I will be booking this location to visit again in September. Room was clean, food was amazing and the views OMG THE VIEWS was spectacular. Heaven on earth. Thank you for making our stay one to remember even with everything that was happening on the island at the time. See you all soon! “THE HOLIDAYS”

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Suites of the Gods Cave & Spa in Santorini from February 3 to 5, 2025. While Santorini itself is always a breathtaking destination, my visit was accompanied by an unexpected challenge—ongoing seismic activity. Despite the situation, my experience at the hotel remained memorable, and I’d like to share my honest review. The Hotel & Atmosphere The hotel’s location is stunning, offering panoramic caldera views that are truly unmatched. The architecture blends seamlessly with the island’s natural beauty, and the cave-style suites provide a unique, luxurious feel. However, the earthquakes did add a layer of unease to the experience. The tremors were noticeable, but the hotel’s structure felt solid, which provided some reassurance. Room & Comfort I stayed in a cave-style suite, which was spacious, elegantly decorated, and featured a private terrace overlooking the caldera. The ambiance was relaxing, and the in-room amenities were top-notch. That said, due to the ongoing tremors, some minor disturbances occurred—like occasional vibrations—but nothing alarming enough to force evacuation. Staff & Service The hotel staff was exceptionally professional and accommodating, especially considering the circumstances. They remained calm, reassured guests.
