2439 Fairfield "A Bed and Breakfast"

Beautiful place. Very historic

Toilet took 3-5 minutes to fill before it would flush. Vanity would not drain properly. Other than coffee in the morning there were no amenities. Not even a bottle of water. Tv channel selection was non existent unless you like home shopping networks. Breakfast starting at 9 is too late for the Senior generation who generally gets up before 6.

Breakfast was top shelf. Location was away from the madness but close to casinos, galleries and restaurants.

Toilet in room we were in needs attention (fill valve).

The hospitality was superb. Breakfast was delightful each day.

There wasn't anything that I didn’t like.

Wonderful home cooked breakfast with locally made sausage, home made apple butter, and grits.

The decor was absolutely stunning! The food and the host were everything! I love the history of the house and the family.

Nothing was wrong.

Staff made you feel like family.

Stairs bad for handicap.

Very beautiful historic house. The historic feel Carrie's throughout the house beginning at the entry, through the dinning areas, and up to the guest rooms provided with four-post beds, comforters, decor and nice balconies with relaxing views. The property grounds have private parking, shade trees, a gazebo, multiple outside seating areas, and small gardens.

It was unfortunate that we arrived right after a severe storm hit with hurricane force winds that left the city without power. As a result, we had to cut our stay short.

This bed and breakfast was wonderful! It was quaint and had character, and we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable it was. In the morning, we woke up to hot coffee and breakfast and great conversation. We’ll be back next time we find ourselves in Shreveport. It was all lovely!
