Huff Estates Inn & Winery

Loved the character of the room and the patio was a nice touch. The sculpture garden was very cool and enjoyed the wine tour and tasting. Bought some wine and really enjoyed it. Only thing that was slightly disappointing was the breakfast. The selection and quality could have been easily improved in my opinion.

Recent 3 night stay at Huff Estates in Prince Edward County (PEC), Ontario... first of all, you can't beat the location if your plans are to explore PEC or to take in the local wineries or breweries... Huff Estates is in the middle of everything! We had a Premier Room, with a king sized bed & tons of room! The room itself was very well laid out, though I wish the ridiculously large bathroom (don't get me wrong, it was great) needs to separate the toilet area from the bathtub/sink area - just a suggestion, maybe personal preference??? I found the bed itself a little too soft (or mushy) for my liking, again maybe just personal preference??? Aside from those two very minor concerns, the room is very clean & well maintained! The complimentary breakfast was a real surprise... in a good way! Bacon, eggs, fruit, cereals, breads, juice, and really good coffee! The breakfast area staff aim to please, whether whipping up and omelette or preparing simple scrambled eggs! There is also a person there tending to any other requests... both individuals are/were fantastic! The estate itself boasts a sculpture garden, a winery, and a restaurant that serves really, really good pizza! ...actually, pizza is the only food item available. Our room came with a complimentary bottle of rose, and a coupon for a free tasting! I thought this was a really nice touch! Overall, I would recommend this place to friends - no question! Friendly staff, clean & spacious rooms, and close to everything make this a great place to stay!

Had a nice stay at this winery inn. Enjoyed that it was an experience - stay on the estate, enjoy a wine tasting and facility tour, wander the sculpture garden, fill up on the breakfast buffet with a cook who makes omelets and eggs, and leave with wine. Also, staff was very nice, the room was a good size and clean, and there’s free parking.

Great location and accomodations

Premier Room was very spacious & clean. I would suggest a couple of changes... firmer mattresses - ours was like mush, and figuring out a way to separate the toilet area from the rest of the washroom. Otherwise, a very enjoyable stay in a very spacious room! Perfect location for getting around Prince Edward County! Would recommend to friends!

I was really looking forward to visiting Huff Estates with my two kids for a nice lunch and wine tasting, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The staff were not welcoming, and I felt judged for having children with me. Kids can naturally be a bit loud, but instead of being understanding or helpful, the service felt cold and dismissive. Overall, it wasn’t the relaxing and enjoyable visit I had hoped for. As a couple who have been several times over the last 10 years, we will not be back nor will we continue to recommend others visit.

Interesting setup with a winery, an inn, and a gallery, the winery itself is a nice stop if you appreciate Canadian wine. There is a small wine tasting bar with knowledgeable staff where wine can be tried for a reasonable fee. To the left is an inside casual restaurant and outdoor patio. Menu is limited to pizza from a wood burning stove. When we were there, outdoor entertainment was happening. Overall: The winery makes a nice stop but not an exceptional one. We also bought some bottles to take home.

The rooms are quite nice. The property itself is beautiful. Breakfast is very good. The biggest disappointment was wine tasting experience.

Fun experience to stay on a Winery. Loved the room layout, full bathroom and amenities. The wine tasting pavillon is welcoming with a variety of good wines to sample and purchase. Our tour guide Brian did a great job explaining the processes, and the displayed art 'walk about' was an added attraction to enjoy.
