Hampton Inn & Suites Valley Forge/Oaks

The check in with Mattie was easy and she was very pleasant. Beds were soft and loved all the pillows. Really enjoyed the early coffee as I get up way earlier than my son. Breakfast was great lots of opinions and food was hot . Great over all stay.

The breakfast was great and the staff were incredible!

This unfortunately did not meet expectations throughout the three-night stay. Checked in on the app but couldn’t access digital key, and had a message that I still had to stop by the front desk to verify information. Received a very cold reception and had to show ID for everyone named on my reservation. I’ve never had to do this with any other check-ins at a Hilton property before. After that, my digital key never worked the entire stay despite being told it was “reset” in the app. Room was fine, if under-stocked/under-staged for a two room King suite. Had to request additional towels (only given two for three people, three nights), additional pillows, only has two chairs at the kitchen table, sparse bedding for pull-out sofa, ceiling fan thick with dust, just generally showing its age. Major issue with room access on the second day. Digital key never worked and front desk refused to make me a key during an urgent lock-out of my room with a minor child (after being unable to find any employee at the front desk, via the chat, or the app for more than 10 minutes). Housekeeping is only every other day, which we understood and planned for, but on the day it was expected, they only took away dirty towels (only gave us two as replacement), didn’t make beds, didn’t remove trash, didn’t refresh any supplies. Breakfast was fine, but struggled to stay stocked at least two of the three days. Avoid the plastic cups for the juice machine - they are all stuck together in one big mass, and everyone’s hands are all over the rims, desperately trying to pry them apart. Received one sincere apology from Kia at the front desk, and she said she’d investigate a partial refund/points thanks to my member status. She said a staff member had walked out midshift, and was clearly dealing with a lot of stress. Hopefully Management lends some support and attention!
