This place was amazing. The staff is awesome as well. Please make sure you have transportation because you’ll have a hard time finding a taxi.
Très joli domaine. En revanche, la piscine était encore sous bâche d’hiver (ouverte à partir du 15 mai). Même si nous ne comptions pas nous baigner aux vues de la météo, c’est plus joli et agréable sans la bâche. Le jardin a été fait après notre arrivée. L’accueil était également fermé.
The place is all Tuscany like. The views from our room are gorgeus . The problems were too many. The room was sopposed to have a balcony , and it did not . There is a lot of confort missing in the room . Too dark inside at night , we had to keep moving lamps from the bedroom to the kitchen. The plastic shower curtain was too short so the bathroom floor flooded every time .We were supposed to be able to do our laundry but we could only talk to a lady after 8PM because she works some place else and she would not let me touch the wash machine , she would do the laundry herself along with her own clothes if we paid her. We tried to reach by phone but no one answered or if it did we had no help at all because they did not work there.
If relaxation, peace and quiet, wonderful scenery and a 'get away from it all' holiday are what you are looking for this is the place for you. No phone in room, no wi-fi just a wonderful location and the generosity of the Coli family for sharing it with you. I travel extensively and stay in some excellent hotels but this was just what i needed.... relaxation with the family in idyllic surroundings. We all loved it and the pool and gardens are a good size and with only 5 other apartments rarely busy. Another plus is that you are just 25 minutes drive from the centre of Firenze and 40 minutes from Siena so right at the heart of Tuscany. Pisa is only an hour away. We hope to visit again next year.. and whilst we could only spend a week in Tuscany i feel as though I have been away for 3 weeks! Truly memorable.
