Design of the hotel. The location. Staff. And excellent food at the restaurant. I didn't try the breakfast as I never go with hotel breakfast.

There should have been a mini fridge for water in the room for that price.

Similarly, the gym was well maintained and equipped, making it easy to keep up with a fitness routine while away. Overall, Hospes Amérigo offers an outstanding level of luxury, comfort, and service. It is a hotel that leaves a lasting impression, and one that I would not hesitate to recommend. If returning to Alicante, this would be the only place I would choose to stay.

Room was lovely. We didn't have breakfast as we think it should always be included in room rate. Quite expensive. We were not told that the pool area was being refurnished which was disappointing and a real shame. Because of this we may have booked an alternative hotel had we been told.
