Garner Hotel Nottingham City Centre by IHG

Location good near the Theatre Royal.

Rude staff. All areas need a good scrub.

Visited Nottingham garner and the experience was absolutely awful. we stayed in 504 The window latch was broken, which meant the window was half open all night. As a result my partner and I were freezing and both caught colds. Then at 10:55 housekeepers tried to get into the room even tho we put a do not disturb sign on the door and had the latch on the door and thank goodness for that because I just came out the shower and all I had on was a towel, the housekeepers didn’t knock either or announce themselves before they tried opening the door and check out we were checked out by Andrew who looked like he couldn’t be bothered to do his job as he tried to make his other colleague check us out even tho she was already checking someone out and he was doing nothing.

It was clean and spacious.

My single bed felt like a camp bed.

It was clean, the staff were kind and helpful. The price was amazing, especially for the quality. The room had everything we needed. It's an easy walk to a bunch of pubs, shops, restaurants and fast food places. The breakfast was nice and the eating area was the best part, being like a huge conservatory with a nice view of the morning sky.

Beds were a little bit stiff. That was all that was bad.

Great location for Rock City! Clean and tidy, and the air con was very welcome given the heatwave!

Nothing-great price for this standard of hotel

Just 2 minute walk to the theatre and we would come again when attending an event, The room was better than I was expecting. The room was big with a very comfortable bed and exceptional bathroom. We did not have breakfast thus can't comment on it.

I don't think anything could be better. Everything was exceptional.
