There was a big party in the sky bar for a political party, it was super loud in we could not sleep until the party was over and all the guests had left at about 02.30 AM We were on the 5th floor right below the party and we had not received any info about the party

Good location very close to shops, nice views from rooftop bar

Picked hotel mainly for location due to how close it is to Harpa and tour pickups along with downtown area being 2-5 min walk away. Staff were great at reception and had friendly talks with couple of them there even offered me coffee. Access to Spa with robe and footwear even though I didn't get time to visit spa. Decent Wifi speed and access. Breakfast was fairly as expected with amazing views of harbour, good selection of drink from bar. Hot water and heating had good fliters for sulfur smell which has been let down in previous hotels. Access to safe and fridge in room along with selection of hot drinks with refills, option for daily, every other day or no cleaning. Very safe location as expected for Iceland with easy access to bus and scooters for travels.

Very little storage space for clothes. Thin walls and floors meant could hear people moving around in morning and cleaners cleaning, loud/heavy doors banging needed to use ear plugs. Shower was terrible for size and screen which would not stay in place while having shower (was informed they are aware and looking into showers). Room really needed some maintence work loose plug/charger, tile damage in bathroom and damage on door.

The location

Staff was unfriendly, shower was collapsible, floor stayed wet, sold .e a view room, didn't get it, noisy.
