Disappointed in the breakfast, no choice and the first morning there was no gluten free bread. No gluten free cereals either. Portions small. This was the most disappointing part. AC in the room was noisy but necessary!

First impression driving up is that this property has endured very poor maintenance for years. With peeling paint, rotting columns, rotting porch boards and shaky railings, it looks to be ready to fall down. Inside, however is different. The common areas are well appointed and clean. (However, the lobby restroom was filthy.) The breakfast area is light and airy and quite inviting. The nearby patio, viewed from the dining area, is a mess. The Bowie suite itself was clean and cozy though not extremely well appointed. There were no tumblers in the bathroom. (How does one rinse their moth or take meds without tumblers.) There were no facial tissues in the room. One of the most important amenities advertised for this room, the corkscrew, was not provided. The bed was so far off the floor that my wife needed a step stool to get in it. The air conditioner was an old style motel through-the-wall type unit. Having the compressor in the wall makes it uncomfortably loud. The ultimate insult was, after being charged over $400 for two nights for mediocre accommodations, I was charged an extra $30.00 for parking. They need to make it very clear, when booking on a third party website, that parking is extra. The breakfast was good and enjoyable and the lady cooking was friendly and efficient. Overall, this was a disappointment. I would not recommend.

True family owned bed & breakfast! Fantastic service and great hospitality!

Such an amazing little bed and breakfast! My honey and I loved the location. It’s on the riverwalk but far enough away from the bars and restaurants that you don’t hear the noise. The room was comfortable and cool. Bathroom a tad bit small but I was expecting that. Overall it was one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed.

Honestly, I expected the property to be kept up a little better and be a little closer to the river walk restaurants. However, the room was quaint, comfortable and clean. I was told to arrive before 3 for check in but when I arrived at 1:30 no one was there. However, when I called, the gentleman on the phone got me into my room. He was very pleasant. Breakfast was nice very good the next morning and I checked in just before checking out. All and all it was pleasant but I guess I expected a little more for the price of the room.

Charming Inn on The Riverwalk. Very convenient. You need to know that if you book with Expedia instead of the Inn’s website you have to pay $15 to park your car.

Headboards wobbling when we walk. Bath room is leaking. Breakfast had no options
