Isle Casino Hotel - Bettendorf

We’ve stayed many times, love the casino. Definitely a no frills hotel

The front desk at check in, on a really really busy weekend, was so great and so helpful, they assisted me with getting my other family members in a room next to us, so helpful. Property was clean and rooms were great. I wish they would add a little coffee place, that would have made it perfect.

We lived the Kellers Express dining option. Unfortunately, we went on a weekend when they had a baseball tournament of some type. There were hindreds of kids running around and it was loud allbweekend. The property is clean and the location is perfect.

This was my first time visiting this property. I was very hesitant based on previous reviews. It's very clean, seemed very safe and most employees were friendly. My North tower room looked nearly brand new. Enjoyed the free soft drinks and beer specials too. Keller's Express has a nice little snack-type menu and their prices are reasonable. They also had a couple other sit-down restaurants. Rooms have a fridge but no microwave. Shower pressure, at least in the room I was in, was less than I would like. No bench or shelf in shower. No complimentary toiletries. Train tracks are next door, but I never heard any noise from it. 2 major issues with my stay that I think management needs to address immediately. First, when I arrived, I went to the hotel desk to ask if they could contact me when my room is ready. 2 clerks were sitting there with nobody in line. I was advised that there were rooms ready, but it would cost $10 to check in at that time. Now, this is the first time that I've ever been asked to pay an early check-in fee, anywhere, ever. I know it's only $10, but I'm so tired of big companies trying to nickel and dime me, that I said I would just wait until 3. If a room is ready, it would seem you would want to get people in their rooms as quickly as possible and try to spread out the check-ins to keep lines short? Anyway, I go back at 3 and now there are 7-8 people in line, with only 1 clerk working. After about 15 mins in line, I noticed some kiosks behind me that seemed to be check-in kiosks. I went over and used that and was done. Why not put those kiosks next to the hotel desk? Second, I like to watch and bet on sports. I sat down at the bar, made my bets and asked to watch the St. Louis Cardinals game. I was told that they don't get that channel. What? This is a sports book. Seems like this would be a no-brainer. I overheard at least 3 other patrons ask for a specific game to be turned on and they were told the same thing. Anyway, I was able to watch it on my phone, but seems like adding the regional sports channels would be common sense for a casino sportsbook. Other than those 2 items, everything was better than expected

The parking garage was dirty. People throwing trash out of their cars. Otherwise a very nice facility

My wife and I were disappointed. Somehow I booked a smoking room. Staff said they would clean it so there would be no smell. Waited the hour they said it would take. No difference. Not sure if they even did it. Saturday night the bathroom sink only has hot water coming from both faucets. Sunday morning the shower drain didn’t work well and stood in 2 inches of water while showering. The whole place seemed dirty. Hotel stated they had a bar. The bar was a few seats and a wall of tv’s in the middle of the casino. We won’t be staying there again and will not recommend.

Do not go to this casino do not stay away . The place is so gross. We stayed there one day in bedbugs were crawling up on me and then they lied about cleaning places real bad stay away from this place and we went to the steakhouse and ate . The food was so bad oh my God I would never go to this casino ever in my life stay away.

The hotel staff were overwhelmed by a busy weekend, and I had to call multiple times to reach the front desk. Frustratingly, the wifi was not working for our room and the staff told me that no tech support people were available during the weekend. Otherwise the room was clean and had all the advertised amenities.
