Hampton Inn Pikeville

Parking was very convenient and free. We were restricted from using the pool unless there were two people entering and staying in the pool area together. The yoga mats were filthy and torn.

The room was very big. Spacious. Clean.

The breakfast items were delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable. At first appearance, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The shower door had streaking from cleaning, but this didn't bother me as i find it difficult to clean glass without leaving streaks. After showering, there was some water on the floor, so I wiped it up with a towel. The towel had black dirt from the floor where I wiped up the water. This surprised me and made me wonder what else I was not seeing. I wanted to leave a note, but there was no stationary to write on. The noise level from the street was very loud at times, but this isn't the fault of the hotel. The parking spaces in the garage were tight, which made it difficult to access, as both my wife and I are handicapped, so I parked on the street. Overall I liked the hotel and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable room.

We were there for a family funeral and we were made to feel welcome and appreciated. We will definitely be back to stay when visiting family in the area.

Breakfast was great. Walking distance to restaurants and the conference center. Free parking in parking garage. Very clean.
