The place is well located and the view is great

The rooms are small. They were not very clean (we had a very large cockroach visiting one night). The staff is not terribly helpful. The breakfast was awful and extremely expensive

Absolutely overpriced for bad service and lack of communication between staff. I was appalled from when I arrived until I left!!!!

Great stay in the hotel. Amazing view from the restaurant and appartment. Great Indian food and marvelous service. Easy to get from Mahe airport by local bus.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Le Relax Hotel and Restaurant. Despite their advertised “flexible cancellation policy,” the hotel refused to accommodate me after my cancellation request was not properly registered. I initially attempted to cancel my booking well before the deadline, but when I realized my cancellation hadn’t gone through, I contacted the property just a few hours after the cancellation cut-off and several days before the check-in date. Despite acting in good faith and explaining the situation, the hotel refused to show any flexibility or understanding. Instead, they charged me the full amount without any attempt to resolve the matter or offer a compromise. This rigid and unreasonable approach completely undermines the concept of a “flexible policy” and demonstrates a lack of customer care. If you value fairness and guest-oriented service, I highly recommend avoiding this property. There are plenty of hotels with fairer policies and more considerate management.

However, they flatly refused to reverse the full charge or even offer a compromise, despite having ample time to rebook the room. This rigid and inflexible approach is entirely unreasonable, especially given that I immediately reached out to resolve the issue. Customer service was unhelpful and dismissive, prioritizing their rigid rules over basic fairness and goodwill. If you value fair treatment, transparency, and a property that cares about its guests, I strongly advise booking elsewhere. This experience has left a very negative impression, and I regret ever making this reservation.
