Beachside Hotel

The room had great amenities. It was unfortunate that the patio could not be utilized even though the pool was closed; too much sand.

We enjoyed our 4 days stay here during the Daytona 500 weekend. Great personal service and hospitality at this small hotel nestled between two giant chain hotels. Hot breakfast with options for all diets. Room was spacious, comfy bed, kitchen with all the amenities if you wanted to take advantage of an extended stay. Bathroom was big, good towels and bath toiletries. We had city view but didn't really use the small balcony as it was raining most of our visit. Quick walk to the beach. The one thing that really impressed us was the communication with us before, during and after our stay. There were some loud guests making fusses during the night but that is out of a hotel's control, we mentioned it and had no further issues. We will choose this hotel again. Oh, and even my hubs started to like the fancy little automaker coffee machine! Hot coffee 24/7!

The staff were A++ and attentive to your needs! They listened to any issues which were not big and took care of it immediately. Very relaxed atmosphere and you felt important to them and the view was hard to beat. I have NEVER seen a TV as large as the one I had....at least a 62" and was nice to use when you used it!! Already booked a stay already for when I return again!! Thankyou Staff!!🙂👍

Staff was great. It’s an older hotel but they are upgrading things now, like the pool and beach access. Comfortable beds though. Great prices for the area. Would stay there again.

We really enjoyed this hotel! It’s family run and they have nice touches like free breakfast and the snazzy latte/cappuchino/etc maker, kitchenettes in the room, cute little cabana area across from the front door, comfy beds, and truly stunning ocean views. The storm took out the pool but we went in February so we didn’t miss it. It’s not the Ritz but it was obvious they put a lot of love and care into the hotel. It’s a great property and I’m glad we were there!

No access to pool or beach. No continental breakfast available as in listing. Nice clean room with balcony facing beach, kitchenette. Staff very nice.

It is very rundown. The floors were absolutely disgusting, the bathroom was old, run down, and the door didn’t close.

This hotel needs a major update and cleaning. My room overlooked the ocean which was nice. However, the paint on both chairs and the railing on the balcony was peeling. In addition to the peeling paint, the chairs were filthy and I didn't want to sit on them. Several other guests had dogs, mostly pitbulls, which were left unattended on their balconies. There was the constant noise of dogs barking which was a major nuisance.

You can not trust this hotel for your trip, do not book. I booked a room in September for a Jan weekend, knowing the race makes securing a room difficult if not impossible. Today, I was notified they are canceling my reservation as they no longer have a room due to it being used under FEMA contracts, I appreciate people that people are being taken care of. What is not is that I get notified 2 weeks before my trip, and they have not taken responsibility to place us in a different hotel. I certainly have been told by hotels before at checkin that they don't have rooms, and had to move, but with the caveat that they honor their commitment and found us a room. No different than when a flight is cancelled, you should and can expect to get placed on a different flight, either with the same or different airline. I had paid in full, they have had my funds since Sept. I'm sure if I had just cancelled on them, I would not be getting a refund, but that they would hold me to my reservation. This was not a last minute event, and they have time to make other arrangements, but I'm sure it would come at a cost to them. As I said, I will not and I would advise you not to trust them with your trip plans.
