Bahama House

Ocean view, pool, hot tub. Elevator broke the day we got there and not fixed before we left. Bathroom said it was renovated but the toilet paper holder fell out of the wall and no water pressure.

Low water pressure. Room needed ceiling maintenance.

The staff was fantastic

Check in was quick and easy. Friendly front desk staff. Only one elevator was working, so be prepared to wait. Room size was nice and so was the ocean view. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. I highly recommend bringing your own pillow. Pillows were extremely lumpy and not conducive to a good night’s sleep. Ended up going to our vehicle about midnight to grab our own. Then when going to breakfast, the overwhelming smell of marijuana was in the hallway. Overall, staff is friendly and location is good, but wouldn’t recommend it or stay here again.

The room was really nice. Bathtub could be cleaner.

The view was the best part. However, desk staff is impersonal, lack customer service, & could have possibly made up for the lack of quality. 3rd floor barely had AC, & the rooms/whole floor was humid. Esthetics of the rooms need some improvement. I’ll be okay with never going back.

Elevators weren’t working at times you get in them and they just sat our room door whistled from the wind on the balcony and the room was very damp clothes hanging in the closet and pillowcases were damp

Another wonderful stay at the Bahama House. This is our home away from home. The room was clean and the view, Amazing!!! We enjoy celebrating our Anniversary every year at the Bahama House. We look forward to visiting again soon.

This hotel has pro's and con's. The pro's are, it is on the water, has a nice pool and hot tub, and the room was spacious. The con's were that the breakfast was not that spectacular, everything was prepackaged, there were no hot items available. We opted to explore a couple of the breakfast diners. Our room did not have a coffee maker or any cups which I found odd, when I asked the front desk I was told our room did not come with those things. So I asked where I could get cups, and she told me to try the Dollar General Store. I opted to get them from the bartender during their cocktail hour. The service, and staff attitudes were nothing spectacular. Also, we were awakened by the emergency alarms, we had to evacuate the building around 11pm and wait for the all clear. We were told it happens a lot due to the moisture that can build up on the sensors. Would I stay there again? Maybe.
