Waikiki Marina Resort at the Ilikai

It was extremely dirty. There were blood stains on our bed sheets. No room cleaning services. Had to empty our trash and ask for new towels.

Room was nice and was glad that we had a kitchen to prep a meal. Prior to my stay at the resort I called the hotel and staff member Joshua was very kind, answered all my questions and helped accommodate my party of 5 so that we could be comfortable on our stay. Upon our arrival the staff in the lobby was also friendly and since we got to the island really early, they were able to hold our luggage’s for a couple of hours until check in time. We were happy to have shop options and delicious shaved ice/ice cream shop in the lobby. In my opinion the only downfall is they didn’t clean our room at least once from our one week stay.

We enjoyed our stay here in Ilikai Hotel. We had the studio with city view & Lanai. Love everything, room, kitchen, laundry room, hotel lobby, people who work there is so friendly. Walking distance to every store. Will be back & stay here again.

The shower was in desperate need of a good cleaning as mildew was growing on the tiles. The room has a window ac installed on the patio and someone complained about water dripping below from the AC running. Hotel security came to my room and asked to look at it. Let him in and clearly the water dripping is from normal condensation from the unit running. Hotel secuirty told me the unit needed a dril pan under it, explained to him i was not the owner of the room and i couldnt do anything for them and they will need to have maintenace deal with it after our stay. Security asked if I was going to leave to turn the AC off. Told him i didnt want my room to get hot while i was gone because the small AC would take too long to cool the room back down quickly and was not going to shut it off, but if they wanted to change our room we would move. He said it was not upto him and left. later that evening we returned to our room after dinner and found someone has enterred the room while we were gone and put a pan under the AC and shut the AC off and the room was hot just as i expected. For the hotel to expect a customer to be ok walking into a hot room because the AC is dripping water down the exterior building is ridiculous. Lastly the staff working here is clearly unhappy. They held a protest infront of the hotel with megphones for a while which was very loud and not peaceful as you would expect while on vacation. Will not be staying at this hotel on our next visit.

We had a fantastic stay! The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect—just across the street from the lagoon and beach, which made it super convenient for daily strolls and enjoying the water. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Kent, who checked us in—he was super awesome and made us feel right at home. Loved that there’s a gift shop right in the hotel where we could grab our coffee every morning, and the on-site ice cream shop was a sweet bonus! One of the highlights was watching the Friday night fireworks right from our room—such a treat. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay here again!
