Sandyport Beach Resort

Anlage veraltet, Beschreibung passt nicht für Leistung. Sollte mal upgedatet werden. Bad zu klein und gammelig. Hatten vorher richtig gute Unterkünfte fur das gleiche Geld, aber alles vom feinsten.

Peaceful location Direct access to beach and water

Auf den Fotos sah alles schön aus, Strand in der Nähe, Restaurant in der Nähe. Keine Hochhäuser oder Menschenmassen. Personal freundlich

Sehr abgewohnt, wir hatten Studio mit Pool oder Gartenview gebucht, unsere Terrasse hatte den Blick auf das Laundry Haus, den großen weißen Generator, einen riesigen Mülleimer und einen weißen Bretterzaun. Dazwischen noch der Hauptweg für alle zum Pool zB. Naben der Terrasse viele gammelige Rohre etc. Also ein Blick auf den Hinterhof, Garten nicht erkennbar, schicke gerne Fotos an Booking.com. Ebenso wird mit Flughafen Shuttle geworben. Die rufen ein Taxi, wie alle anderen Hotels auch. Kein Shuttle! Das Bad war mini, Fläche zum stehen 1m2 aber die Tür geht nach innen auf… rostige Flecken vom Metal. Pool sehr trübes Wasser, überhaupt nicht einladend. Lagune zum schwimmen auch kein klares Wasser. Fliegengitter mit Löchern und nicht dicht an den Seiten. Eismaschine rostig und kaputtes Gehäuse

The resort itself was charming and calm, so quite a relaxing experience. Beautiful ocean beach that was never crowded. There are various restaurants and a coffee shop, which were all decent to good, but expensive. The room was kept clean daily with new towels provided. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

The standard Hotel Bedroom was quite small for 2 people, dated and smelled humid/moldy. Overall an uncomfortable experience, especially for longer stays where you pack larger suitcases. I would recommend choosing a level up in the room to avoid this, as I believe they have some newly renovated ones. The lagoon and pools were charming but not very inviting to either relax near or swim in, so we only used the ocean beach.

It has a nice location

The rooms are an absolute dump - looks nothing like the photos. The staff are great, the room was very clean, but it was about 50 years old. I would stay here again as a last resort but would definitely not recommend it as a nice place to stay. I was there for work so it dint matter too much, but if I was there for a holiday I would have checked in and checked right back out.

Sandyport is a very attractive and very well-planned community. The exteriors of the buildings are lovely, and the property is built around a beautiful network of canals, so water views are plentiful! Some of the restaurants feed the local wildlife, which is ecologically problematic but resulted in a great view of sharks, turtles and barracuda while we were eating. The pool and beach area are very pleasant, but there was a surprising amount of trash scattered across the property, more than I am used to seeing at an upscale resort. But the biggest issue was the shabby interiors. Our family was in a suite that was desperately seeking refurbishment. Everything was chipped, dinged, scuffed and stained. Not dirty--housekeeping did an excellent job--but very shabby looking. While this wouldn't have been surprising at a discount hotel, at this price point it is very disappointing to see rooms in this kind of condition.

Location, room and service were great. Room cleaning was top notch.

Wifi and food could of been better, but weren't bad.

We had an absolutely lovely time at Sandyport Beach Resort – it is such a hidden and underrated gem! It had all the things we wanted in a resort, but without the typical "resort" feel. We also loved being walking distance to great local spots, Bon Vivant and Poop Deck being our favorites! We will be back!

My review is much like the other ones here. Sandyport was chill and we were glad comparatively to other areas in the island to be here. You don’t have to fight for a chair or worry about getting harassed on the beach. The rooms were fine. I think not worth what we paid, but again- clean and comfortable. I recommend this resort with people with kids who don’t want the chaos, but rent a car because you will want to get off the property for meals and entertainment.
